On Sunday morning September 28, the Dutchess County 911 Center dispatched the New Hackensack Fire Department, Town of Wappinger/Transcare Medics, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, and the N.Y.S.P. for a reported auto accident with injuries on New Hackensack Rd. in front of the R&R Deli. Upon the arrival of responding units, it was determined that there was one injury which was the result of a one vehicle roll-over accident. The female driver suffered a head injury after her vehicle left the rain slicked roadway, rode up an embankment, and rolled back down onto the roadway landing upright. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and removed the drivers door and roof as T.O.W./Transcare Medics stabilized the patient. Once the door and roof were removed, the female driver was transported to St Francis Trauma Center for treatment of her injuries.
